2019

Seeing with Animals will not be explicitly represented at the 2019 Living with Animals conference.

However, artists are always, and have always been, welcome at the Living with Animals conference. The theme of the 2019 conference is Some We Love, Some We Hate, Some We Eat, Some We Need.

Submissions for the exhibition generally open in March of the year prior. Future calls for artist entries will be announced via Facebook and the SWA newsletter.

2017 : CO-EXISTENCE

The relationship between animals and humans is complex, varied, and a long one that has spanned millennia, adapting and metamorphosing in a physical as well as metaphoric and imaginative capacity.

This competition invited submissions of work that respond to the 2017 Seeing with Animals conference theme, Co-existence, however artists express and represent the relationship between animal and man.
