OVERVIEW

Seeing with Animals, in conjunction with the Living with Animals conference at Eastern Kentucky University, is two days of sessions devoted directly to key issues in the discourse surrounding animals and imagery.

Components of Seeing with Animals include a juried exhibition, a display of artist books by exhibiting artists, and the opportunity to participate in both informal and formal portfolio reviews, either as a reviewer or a reviewee or both.

At the 2019 Living with Animals conference, Seeing with Animals will not be explicitly represented. However, artists are always, and have always been, welcome at the Living with Animals conference. The theme of the 2019 conference is Some We Love, Some We Hate, Some We Eat, Some We Need.
