ABOUT SEEING WITH ANIMALS
As an organization, Seeing with Animals supports academic research and creative practice that address the cultural representation of animals.
We provide resources to contemporary artists and historians of art and visual culture whose work contributes to the broad interdisciplinary field of animal studies.
We encourage the building of collaborative networks, scholarship, academic mentoring, and the cross-pollination of ideas by sponsoring academic conferences, exhibitions, archives, publications, and an online gallery.
Our aim is to support an informed understanding of the cultural representation of human-animal relations in order further to promote the ethical treatment of non-human animals.
